When I first met Michelle about 6 months ago at a Women Presidents' Organization event hosted by the BDC, she was wearing a pink pantsuit with big bows on the ankles, and I thought to myself, "This is my kind of businesswoman!"

  • Any limitations on benefits for young adults who lost their jobs, but who are living with parents who are supporting them financially while they stay home?
  • Our work has just notified employees that they will be moving to 80 percent work & wages effective April 1, and will be applying for the Work Share Program. Are there options for employees to 'top-up' that 20 percent in wages they are losing?
  • If any employee is looking to leave on Maternity leave in June, will 80 percent hours on Work Share affect the EI benefits available once they apply for EI on Mat Leave?
  • Our work has decided to reduce our hours by 50 percent and consequently, our salaries are halved too. I wanted to know if this move is legal?
