Terry has been a long time friend and mentor. When I first started exploring how to explain what my software does, Terry and his team at RSM (formerly Collins Barrow) generously sat through several of my pitches. They gently explained to me that they had no idea what I was talking about and that I might want to tone down all those geeky words…haha!
So now when people ask what my software does, I tell them: "I Wish I Was On Page 2 of Google — Said No One Ever."
I was also Terry's guest at an angel investor forum where I got the chance to hear pitches and the conversations of the angels afterward. That was before I started my adventures in Silicon Valley, and the whole tech/investor world was so new to me.
It's always such a pleasure to visit with Terry — although I have to admit, I was sad that he wasn't wearing one of his signature bold, floral and paisley print dress shirts that he is most known for. I guess I'll have to wait until the quarantine is over to see what loud and vibrant print Terry shows up with next.
