We’ve convinced some of Calgary's top trainers, leaders and managers to help entrepreneurs, managers, leaders and business owners understand how to improve compassion, communication, diversity and inclusivity in the workplace, especially through tough times.

Deborah Nichol is the Happiness Designer at Shaman in Heels. The company designs and facilitates "How compassionate leaders manage teams through tough times" with a twist, The Happiness Way.

The workshops help managers who lead with compassion find unique and creative ways to guide their teams through fear and uncertainty.

For the past 25 years, Deborah has integrated "Mindfulness Integrative Cognitive Behavioural Therapy" into her workshops to help entrepreneurs and business leaders overcome challenges with communication, reduce stressors, and manage uncertainty.

Michelle Berg - Elevated HR, CEO

Michelle Berg is the Leading Lady and CEO of Elevated HR Solutions — an organization that helps attract, develop and retain top talent by designing workplace strategies and programs so employees and employers can thrive.

Michelle has taken the approach that she can’t advise companies on how to build strong cultures unless she’s doing it herself; many of her stories and ideas have been generated from failed attempts and ultimate successes right at Elevated HR, which she regularly uses as an incubator for new and novel ideas.

Meghan Monk - Sysco, Vice President National Sales, Alberta Region

Meghan started with Sysco in 2002 helping companies leverage food to increase profitability. In 2012 she began creating new employee training programs and implemented team-building strategies in her role as corporate sales manager. Now as Vice President of National Sales, Meghan leads teams of over 200 staff and thoroughly enjoys the training and collaboration portion of her role.
