This is a sweet resource that I share when I onboard new writers to our team.
Why do we care so much about headlines?
Plug in your keywords and get your next article title:
This app will generate 700 titles from your keyword(s). Not all the titles will make sense, but a significant number will.
You can stop there, or you can choose your best two and create a poll to find out which is the best.
Just one word is needed to start building your headline:
The title generated from your keyword or subject will generate an annotated title. That is, this generator will explain the value or effect of each word in the resulting title.
If that's enough, great. If not, you can choose one of three content strategy options to get pro tips on how to best write your blog or article.
One word provides over 150 great headlines:
The headlines generated are categorized into groups, such as Lists (10 Tips with Headlines), The Five W's (When Headlines), and Errors (No More Mistakes with Headlines).
There are also quite a number of links to other sources of inspiration, including the top social media sites/apps.
Want 1000+ headlines without the work? Use this:
The interesting twist to this generator is that in addition to just typing in your keyword, you are asked to categorize it. So after typing in 'headlines', for example, you will need to select one of the drop-down list categories, such as event, industry or product.
'Headlines + event' will produce different results than 'headlines + industry', etc.
Great headlines with just three nouns:
This app is actually billed as a blog topics generator, but since it begins by giving you headline options… You can specify up to three nouns; however, the results use each noun separately.
So, if you type in 'headline, effect, smash', you will get suggestions for each of the three but not something such as "Smash Tips for Effective Headlines."
